Description: A companion project to sweet: it used to be my bedroom, these images are prayers for belonging and intimacy in a place where queer people are often denied them. The images, taken by the brilliant Marlon James, use two forms of sugar to evoke the enticing possibility of queer belonging and desire and the colonial inheritance of shame.
