Role: Creative Direction, Performance
City Gait uses the concept of metamorphosis to explore gender fluidity and visibility in the Trinbagonian context. In Trinidad and Tobago and much of the Caribbean, to be queer requires your silence and invisibility for survival. This project challenges this, daring to imagine a space in which queer bodies can be visible in highly public settings such as City Gate, the main transport hub in Trinidad's capital city, Port-Of-Spain.
